Kathleen Finlay, Ci’s founder, has been helping journalists for the past two decades in developing compelling reportage in health care innovation, patient safety/medical errors, sexual misconduct and workplace abuse and better delivery of mental health services. She has written more than anyone else in Canada on the need for a reinvigorated compassion commitment in the post-pandemic era, is the founder of the campaign that brought new 988 suicide prevention technology to Canada and is a widely sought out commentator on sexual violence and the harm of non-disclosure agreements.
Kathleen is regularly interviewed on national news platforms and in media outlets everywhere. Her prominently featured columns in Ottawa’s Hill Times are must reading for MPs, senators and power brokers and continue to influence the course of groundbreaking legislation.
